Cookie policy
Last updated 23 August 2026
This page is not finished. Trinity does not yet have a cookie policy, and there is no published Unbolted one to take it from — the Unbolted privacy notice refers to a cookie notice that is not on the site. The wording below describes what the policy will need to cover. It is not a policy, and it must be replaced before launch.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. Cookies let a site remember your actions and preferences over time, and let its owner understand how the site is being used.
What this policy will need to set out
- Every cookie the site sets, grouped as strictly necessary, functional, analytics, or advertising.
- Who sets each one — us, or a named third party — and how long each one lasts.
- What each category is used for, in plain English.
- How to accept, reject and change your choices, and how to withdraw consent later.
- How cookie data relates to the personal data described in the privacy notice.
Outstanding before launch
- No analytics or advertising cookies may be set before the visitor has consented. That requires a consent banner, which the site does not yet have.
- The cookie inventory has to be taken from the site as actually built and deployed, not written in advance.
- The finished wording needs compliance sign-off, like every other policy here.
